Job Description
We are looking for an experienced On-Call Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and a strong commitment to ensuring each event exceeds guest expectations. In this role, you'll be responsible for completing all assigned banquet side work, adhering to precise service standards, and responding promptly to guests' needs during events.
Responsibilities
- Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Managers.
- Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.
- Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties.
- Report to the Banquet Manager any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of and banquet equipment.
- Assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor liability laws.
- Attend all designated pre-meal meetings.
- Follow all details as described on Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s).
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in a 4-diamond hotel/resort.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for the duration of a full shift.
- Must be TIPS and Food Handlers Certification.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
- Must be able to set tables to specifications, carry trays, and create excellent customer service experience.
