As a Rehab Tech you will:
- Delegate direct or indirect patient care under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech language pathologist or other licensed/registered clinicians.
- Treatment set-up and take-down.
- Patient scheduling.
- Filing.
- Stocking supplies.
- Tracking data.
- Equipment maintenance and cleaning.
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous rehab experience in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Physical Requirements-Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
This a rehab tech for our physical therapy department that works 20 hours a week. There are no weekends required. The ability to speak spanish is preferred.

The culture in the Physical Therapy department at Holy Cross Hospital – Salt Lake is diverse and very friendly. A successful team member would be one who can work well with others, be adaptable, relate to patient's needs and concerns, be competent in their treatment plans and able to explain treatment plans successfully to patients.
