Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Birthplace. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Provides for a safe environment for patients and visitors. Utilizes the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well-being and appropriateness of care to newborns and mothers during the antepartum and postpartum periods.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred3. BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current4. ACLS certification within 90 days and maintain current5. NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current6. Basic Fetal monitoring within 60 days of hire and maintain current 7. AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate within 12 months 8. AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate preferred 9. STABLE preferred

Saint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $52.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
