Job Description
To ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner using appropriate procedures, in accordance with Omni Standards. To handle all payment transactions for all foods and/or beverages purchased in the hotel's restaurants.
Responsibilities
- Answering phone correctly and politely
- Takes reservations as needed and enter into Open Table correctly according to training guidelines
- Greeting guests and seat guests
- Keep host stand clean and organized
- Control heavy volume at Restaurant entrance
- Knowledge of hotel property
- Inform the guest about daily features and menu items
- Knowledge of Bobs concept and menu
- Attend to and anticipate guest’s needs
- Familiarization with menu and know how to properly take to go orders as needed
- Follow server rotation, seating and informing servers with chits correctly
- Inform manager of all potential issues or complaints immediately
- Provide nightly guest tracking to manager prior to leaving
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Stock the public lobby and restaurant coolers.
- Attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
