Job Summary and Responsibilities
Assesses, delivers, and documents respiratory care to include pulmonary hygiene and airway management and performs diagnostic exams as necessary. Manages all patients on ventilators and related life support equipment. Performs routine blood gas analysis. Assesses, plans, and evaluates the patient plan of care utilizing multiple respiratory modalities, respiratory therapy driven protocols, and advanced ventilation techniques.
Job Requirements
Minimum
High School Diploma/GED and Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program
Must hold and maintain:
AZ Board of Respiratory Care Examiners License;
Certified Respiratory Therapist-CRT from National Board of Respiratory Care;
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support;
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; and
American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support
