In this role as a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. As a Physical Therapist you will also utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. While in this position you will assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Physical Therapist candidates will need the following:
- Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
- Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
- Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy required
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, preferred
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required
- BLS through the American Heart Association required
- Dry Needling Certification or Education preferred
- Only required if performing the Dry Needling function: Dry Needling Certification or Education.
Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly
This is a Monday through Friday acute care PT role that offers full benefits. We are needing occasional weekend coverage at our Holy Cross Hospital-West Valley location. We are open to considering a new grad for this role. We would love to have a team member who can fluently speak Spanish.
