Position Summary
The Food Service Helper plays a crucial role in assisting with food preparation, service, and maintaining cleanliness within the food service area. They support the kitchen and dining staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $10.70.

Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as cutting, slicing, and chopping ingredients.
- Help in the cooking and assembly of menu items under the guidance of kitchen staff.
- Set up and replenish food stations, ensuring all items are well-stocked and presentable.
- Serve food to customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and food service equipment.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.
- Provide assistance to kitchen staff and chefs as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
