Role Overview
Sodexo Energy and Resources is seeking a Environmental Services Custodial Manager to support a leading Oil and Gas client in Belle Chasse, LA. This on-site role oversees a team of 10 janitorial technicians and porters, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of both common and operational areas. Responsibilities include staff training, scheduling, quality control, and daily task management. The manager will be accountable for maintaining high standards across all cleaning operations—including restrooms, break areas, floors, and general areas—while supporting special projects as needed. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and compliance are essential for success in this role.
What You'll Do
- Direct daily custodial operations, ensuring employees have the necessary equipment and resources to meet goals and deadlines.
- Act as point of contact for contracted service providers, managing schedules and scope of work.
- Maintain housekeeping and custodial services to meet standards and contractual requirements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Sodexo/client policies (e.g., quality assurance, safety, operations).
- Foster a safe work environment by ensuring equipment safety, compliance with safety programs, and providing ongoing safety training.
- Conduct regular inspections of office spaces, restrooms and general areas.
- Oversee inventory, manage weekly schedules, and ensure proper staffing while supporting the hiring, training, and development of new staff

- Associates Degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years minimum experience managing or leading a team.
- Prior experience in Environmental Services or housekeeping.
