We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist with a focus in Hand Therapy for our outpatient orthopedic center in Winter Haven, FL.
Who Should Apply:
- Newly licensed OTs with Level II fieldwork in hand therapy
- OTs with 1+ year of current hand therapy experience
- Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) – preferred but not required
Caseload Includes:
- Tendon injuries
- Sprains and strains
- Post-operative fractures
- Splinting experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
- Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
- Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
- Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
- National registration and state licensure or registration REQUIRED to start.
- Newly licensed OT graduates with level 2 fieldwork in hand therapy and Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1 year current hand therapy
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Valid state driver’s license
