Sodexo Government Services has an exciting for Food Service Manager 2 opportunity to be part of a growing account in our Cherry Point Mess Hall. What You'll Do
- Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for inventory managementand procurement operations of food and supplies to ensure account retention.
- Directs daily operations of inventory and procurement operations of food and supplies toensure employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their jobsand meet goals, cost controls and deadlines.
- Provides input to estimate food consumption in order to procure appropriate amount ofsupplies.
- Manages the budget by controlling costs (e.g. labor, inventory, equipment, materials),complying with budget requirements and making adjustments when necessary.
- Establishes a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training andequipment maintenance and by ensuring compliance with Sodexho safety and loss preventionprograms and with standards and procedures for the handling and storage of hazardousmaterials and/or waste.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/clientpolicies and procedures (e.g. quality assurance, safety, operations, personnel).
