Job Summary and Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Radiologic Staff Technologist is a Registered Radiologic Technologist, who, under the direction of the Radiologist or supervising technologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Must strictly adhere to the State of California Radiation Safety Regulations as it applies to worker and patient safety.
*Casual position will be at the Downtown campus
Job Requirements
Minimum Experience:
- CA Radiology Tech (R) (F)
- ARRT
- BLS (AHA required)
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with medical and technical personnel. Must have the ability to read write and speak English.
Preferred:
IV certification preferred
1 year acute medical experience
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
