As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.
Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.
To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.
- Demonstrates the ability to operate EPIC (or applicable EHR system), computer/telephone/facsimile
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills
- Actively communicates positively and effectively to all contacts
- Administers patient care within the scope of practice for a CT/Radiologic Technologist
- Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test, and prepares the patient for the procedure
- Demonstrates the ability to multi-task
Required
- High School Graduate High School Diploma, upon hire or
- High School GED, upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, upon hire
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, within 12 - months and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
