Continuous education in infection control and OBRA compliance can also strengthen candidacy locally.

Unlike physical therapists, OT specialists emphasize cognitive and fine motor skills, adapting treatment plans to patient lifestyles, which is critical for long-term SNF rehabilitation success.

Occupational therapists can advance into senior clinical roles, supervisory positions, or specialize further as clinical specialists. Leadership tracks include managing therapy teams or transitioning into education and policy-making roles, reflecting a blend of clinical expertise with administrative influence.

Reliant Rehabilitation offers structured clinical ladders and company-sponsored continuing education, fostering growth from entry-level to leadership.
