Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. A minimum of six months experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care physician practice setting and/or direct patient care experience.2. High school diploma or equivalent. 3. Successful completion in an accredited Medical Assistant Training program and/or equivalent experience.4. Fluency in English.5. Must have BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire.6. Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia training within 90 days of hire, if required by department.
