Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Cath Imaging Technologist is a professional with advanced training in cardiovascular/interventional and special procedures. The Cath Imaging Technologist, under the general direction of the Nurse Director, shall perform professional functions involved in a variety of technical aspects.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year Cardiac Catherization Technologist or Interventional Radiology experience required. Must obtain Dysrhythmia certification within 9 months of hire.
- Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications
- CT RTT, CT RTTF, ARRT and BLS required
- Intra Aortic Balloon Pump certified within the first year of employment in the Cath Lab.
- Must pass annual dysrhythmias test.
