Specific Responsibilities Would Include
The Sales Operations Coordinator for Centric Brands’ Kids Division plays a key role in supporting the sales process from order creation through to delivery. This individual serves as a critical liaison between internal departments, sales representatives, and retail partners to ensure operational accuracy, timely fulfillment, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Customer Support & Order Management
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding orders, shipments, and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
Accurately enter and manage orders in the system; troubleshoot and resolve issues related to oversold items, late deliveries, substitutions, and customer-specific requirements.
Maintain backup documentation for all orders and communication for audit and resolution purposes.
Support house sales representatives with order entry, order adjustments, and tracking sample needs.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the main point of contact between Sales, Production, Operations, Imports, and Shipping to ensure smooth order flow and timely delivery.
Track and update the status of POs, shipments, and inventory; proactively communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with customer compliance departments to maintain compliance documentation and execute customer-specific routing and labeling requirements.
Lead the new vendor setup process, collaborating with customer operations, legal, and accounting to ensure timely completion.
Reporting & Analysis
Generate and distribute reports using SAP and Excel to track order fulfillment, delivery performance, and customer account status.
Research and analyze shipping discrepancies, delayed deliveries, and inventory availability to provide resolutions and insights.
Support ad hoc reporting needs for sales, operations, and customer service teams.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3+ years of experience in sales operations, customer service, or order management, preferably in the wholesale or fashion/apparel industry
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is a strong plus
Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and work under tight deadlines
Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to think critically and solve problems independently
Customer-focused with a strong sense of urgency and accountability

Salary Range: $60,000 - 65,000

The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
