Overview
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist, sometimes referred to as Movement Specialist. The Physical Therapist (PT) will help patients regain mobility and function after illness, injury, or surgery through assessments, exercises, and early mobilization. They also assist with pain management, educate patients and families, and support discharge planning to ensure safe transitions after hospitalization.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- Assessing Patients: Evaluate a patient's mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional limitations
- Creating Treatment Plans: Develop individualized therapy plans to improve movement and function based on the patient’s condition and goals
- Post-Surgical Rehabilitation: Assist patients in regaining function after surgery (e.g., joint replacements, cardiac procedures)
- Pain Management: Use techniques such as manual therapy, positioning, and guided movement to reduce pain and improve comfort
- Patient & Family Education: Teach patients and caregivers how to perform exercises, use assistive devices (like walkers), and follow safety practices at home
