We're searching for a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Mechanic II to join our dynamic Engineering team! This pivotal role is perfect for a professional who thrives on troubleshooting complex issues, working independently, and guiding others, all while ensuring our facilities operate flawlessly.
As a Maintenance Mechanic II, you will be a cornerstone of our maintenance operations, responsible for:
- Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues across a wide range of systems and equipment.
- Execute sophisticated preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of critical infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough facility and equipment inspections, identifying potential issues before they escalate.
- Skillfully manage and resolve emergency maintenance situations in the absence of Engineering leadership, demonstrating sound judgment and decisive action.
This position is represented by CHEU and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Job Requirements
- High School Graduate / GED required.
- Two to five years in boiler or hospital operation and equipment repair required.
- Competent knowledge and experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical required.
- CA BOILER Lic required.
- HVAC Cert required.
- CA Drivers' Lic. required.
- CA Locksmith Lic preferred.
