Job Summary and Responsibilities
Competent to perform complete diagnostic radiography procedures on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of Medical Director. Individual Maintains patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, adherence to department policies, and with effective communication with physicians, staff and patients. Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic imaging exams inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings. Assists patients with basic patient care needs. Provides emergency care, notifying appropriate personnel and ensures that patient safety is maintained.
Job Requirements
- 1 year of Radiologic expereince required
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) required
- Medical Radiographer: TX (MRAD:TX) required
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) - American Heart only - required
- Associate's Degree preferred
