Every aspect of your work will reflect the Legacy mission of making life better for others.Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel has a full-time opportunity for a BE/BC pediatric endocrinologist to join an established team that includes 5 pediatric endocrinologists. The ideal candidate should be a board eligible or board-certified Pediatric Endocrinologist with a strong interest in both inpatient and outpatient care of patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders. An interest in leadership is a plus. Children’s Diabetes and Endocrine Center is an ADA recognized pediatric diabetes program with five diabetes educators, one social worker, one pediatric endocrine nurse and one behavioral health clinician as well as an excellent patient-oriented support staff.
The Center provides diabetes and endocrine care to a patient population over 2,500 from the Pacific Northwest including Oregon, Southwest Washington. There is opportunity for clinical research and teaching. Our center also has two signature programs including a pediatric weight management/healthy lifestyle program and a multidisciplinary transgender program.Children’s Diabetes and Endocrine Center also has a network of multiple outreach clinics in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Our center was recently recognized as patient centered specialty practice by The National Committee for Quality Assurance.
For decades RCH hospital has been a regional leader in providing excellent care to infants, children and teens in Portland and the pacific Northwest and is one of Oregon’s largest providers of pediatric inpatient and trauma services. Randall’s medical staff is made up of more than 600 physicians, including pediatric medical and surgical specialists, hospitalists and community pediatricians. RCH receives nearly 100,000 patient visits per year. The children’s Emergency Department is Oregon’s busiest with more than 26,000 visits annually.

Qualifications:
- M.D. Graduate of a four-year accredited U.S. Medical school or equivalent.
- Completion of residency in Pediatrics.
- Board eligible/certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology.
- Unrestricted Medical License for the applicable state.
- Current PEARS and NRP certificates from the American Heart Association
