Job Summary and Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as a staff technologist one (1) year experience in one specialty field
- CRT certification required
- ARRT certification in Mammography, Computed Tomography, Cardiac/Interventional Radiology or MRI required
- CPR required
- Must spend at least 25% of clinical time working in the specialty
- Fluoroscopy Permit certification required
Must also demonstrates extensive knowledge of principles, protocols, techniques and procedures of Diagnostic Radiography and specialty. Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians, and the general patient population. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment. Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
This position is represented by SEIU, Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
