Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Director of Radiology Services, the Mammographer actively participates in the performance of specialized radiographic imaging procedures which assist the radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders. The Mammographer will participate in direct patient care, facility quality and safety initiatives as well as local and federal regulations. Assist with complex and sensitive patient and patient family issues. Ensures quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.2. Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by JRCERT.
3. Current ARRT certification.
4. Advanced certification in the field of Mammography.
5. Current experience as a radiology technologist.
6. Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
7. Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
8. Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.
9. Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice.
10. Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS).

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.78 to $51.82. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
