Dental Associates of FL - Winter Haven is looking for a Dental Assistant to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience (prefer min 2 years)
Hours: Mon -Thurs 8-5

Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
or
- 2+ years of dental assisting experience
- X-Ray certification
- Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
- High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
