Friday, Saturday, Sunday night shift schedule, special program preferred. This postion will be expected to float to the department with the greatest need.

At our Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, women can have their annual mammograms, biopsies, and can meet with a nurse navigator if needed. The Women’s Center offers six newly remodeled labor and delivery suites and has a secure nursery for the care of our newborns. It serves an eight-county region in the Lakeway Area and is equipped with modern technologies and expert staff to provide the best possible patient care. Position Overview:
Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.

Responsibilities
- Completes nursing history and initiates patient education.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members.
- Implements plan of care appropriate to diagnosis. Evaluates care outcomes.
- Problem solves and coordinates unit/patient care assignments, with supervision.
- Introduces new employees/students to unit routines.
- Demonstrates competence in performing critical skills (checklist) to include appropriate delivery of care according to the age-specific needs of the population served.
- Supervises LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs and sitters.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience:
New graduate, within first (1st) year of orientation (move to level II after one (1) Year experience).
Licensure Requirement:
Must have and maintain Tennessee RN license and CPR.
