An ICU Registered Nurse (RN) is a specialized healthcare professional responsible for providing intensive care to patients with life-threatening conditions. Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but are not limited to):
- Deliver comprehensive, high-quality care to critically ill patients by performing detailed assessments, developing care plans, and implementing complex nursing interventions.
- Utilize advanced technology to continuously monitor and evaluate patient vital signs and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Safely administer medications and treatments as per protocols, and accurately document patient information and medication records.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients' families, acting as a liaison to ensure they understand the care being provided.
- Follow and enforce hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and caring environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
1. Current and valid state RN license.2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.3. Completion of a critical care course is preferred. 4. Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.5. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintained. 6. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital; critical care preferred.7. Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred. 8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
