Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a DSP Job Coach you will work with people with a variety of abilities, providing personal cares, assisting with medications and doing activities to create a meaningful day during the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm. Trainings and meetings will occur as needed between the hours of 4:15-6:00pm.
More importantly, you are someone who is dependable and compassionate with a proven ability to remain composed under pressure. As a trusted direct support professional, you are looked to as a leader when challenging situations occur where your reaction and self-control are most important.
- Keep people safe, assist with medications, follow dietary plans as written.
- Follow policies, procedures, Individual Support Plans as written.
- Provide people with meaningful activities they enjoy.
- Current valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
