Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. A minimum of six months experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care physician practice setting and/or direct patient care experience preferred.2. High school diploma or equivalent. 3. Successful completion in an accredited Medical Assistant Training program and/or equivalent experience or EMT license preferred. 4. Fluency in English.5. Must have BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire.6. Office Laboratory Assistant License from the State of Nevada is required within 90 days of hire outside of the Cardiology Practices.
