Job Summary and Responsibilities
Offering a $10,000 Sign on Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements
The Physical Therapist (PT) (Acute) delivers quality therapy services to patients by performing evaluations and developing individual treatment plans and goals to maximize functional outcomes. The PT implements the treatment program, reassesses treatment results, and actively participates in an OP setting. The PT is responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice following the guidelines of the State of Texas Board of Examiners for Physical Therapy.
Services are delivered within the framework of an interdisciplinary team approach, including the patient and significant others. These services are delivered in compliance with CommonSpirit, St. Joseph's mission, ethical standards, and policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree; Major in Kinesiology/Exercise Science or other Physical Therapy related field
- Licensed by the State of Texas, Physical Therapist
- BLS CPR certified, American Heart Association
Minimum Experience:
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Effective Communication
- Knowledge of the principles and skills of the clinical process to provide patient care and treatment.
- Critical thinking skills
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Basic Computer skills
