Job Overview
This is an on call position, days and no nights or weekends. Great location in Woodbury Minnesota. Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties clinic. We currently have an opening for a Radiology Technolgist to join our team.
Responsibilities
Radiology technologists are medical personnel who perform diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This may include fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy.
• Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.• Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out diseaseor injury.• Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.• Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.• Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.•Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor andflexibility during unexpected work related events.
