Role Overview
SodexoMagic is seeking an Executive Chef 3 for Grambling State University in Grambling, LA. This chef will be responsible for all culinary operations for resident dining. Grambling State is a Premier HBCU account boasting a robust and innovative dining program.
SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve. - be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
- ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
- have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
- ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems

- Culinary management experience within a large volume, quality-focused setting, preferably within a college or university environment.

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
