Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.

Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

  • Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Assist radiologist with interventional CT imaging procedures, starting IV`s, and injecting contrast, if applicable
  • Maintains equipment and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Acts professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience and not operational rivalries or roadblocks to care
Job Requirements

Required:

  • Must have completed an accreditied Radiology Program
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in Radiology
  • Medical Radiographer - (MRAD:TX)
  • CPR-BLS - With American HEart Association
  • ARRT (R)
  • ARRT (CT)
