Position Summary
The position of Zamboni Driver is responsible for the ice rink, proper safe operation of the ice resurfacer (Zamboni), maintenance of all areas pertaining to and or involved in maintaining a quality sheet of ice for a professional hockey team. The Zamboni Driver will report to the Operations Manager.
This role pays an hourly rate of $19.67-$25.00 (per CBA).
Benefits as per the union agreement.This position will remain open until December 31, 2025.

Responsibilities
- Perform general physical labor associated with set up and break down for events i.e. ice install, ice maintenance, glass repair, rink repair.
- Make repairs as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Operate a forklift truck.
- Drive zamboni during hockey games maintaining the ice to AHL and/or NCAA standards.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A strong communicator: be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format to management and staff as well as to all types of clients
- Organized, able to prioritize, and have strong time management skills
- Able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and service oriented.
- Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
- Prior experience driving a Zamboni machine required.
- Prior experience with ice maintenance
- Previous facility operations experience a plus.
