Responsibilities & Requirements
The Registered Nurse is responsible for:
- Prepares patients and examination rooms, taking initial medical history for the chart, taking vital signs.
- Assist physician in special procedures, including minor surgery as required.
- Receive and handle phones calls as directed by physician.
- Accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
- Any other duties relating to the business operation of the medical practice that may be assigned by the physician(s) or practice office manager.
Requirements
- Current RN license in State of Ohio.
- ADN (or equivalent experience) required but BSN preferred.
- Must be ACLS and CPR certified.
- Excellent communication and teaming skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous nursing experience preferred.
- Epic training/knowledge experience preferred.
