Position Summary
As a Concessions Worker, you play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You’ll prepare and serve food and beverages at concession stands, portable stations, or grab-and-go areas with a focus on speed, accuracy, and friendly service. Your attention to detail ensures every item is presented with care and quality.
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll work closely with fellow team members to maintain a clean, organized workspace and support one another to meet guest needs efficiently and professionally.
A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and reliability is essential. Consistent attendance is required, including availability on weekdays and weekends, mornings or evenings, depending on game day schedules.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $12.00-$15.00 and is tip eligible

Allen Fieldhouse: Iconic home of KU men's and women's basketball.
David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium: Historic football stadium, centerpiece of the KU Gateway District redevelopment.
Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena: State-of-the-art facility dedicated to KU volleyball, located adjacent to Allen Fieldhouse.
Rock Chalk Park:
Track & Field Stadium: Elite competition venue with Class I certification.
Soccer Stadium: Hosts KU women's soccer matches.
Hoglund Ballpark: Baseball stadium near Allen Fieldhouse.
Responsibilities
- Ability to build orders, prepare food, and knowledge in all areas of concessions operations.
- Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating to the Concessions Supervisor of low stock items.
- Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
- Serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly. Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
- Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Some experience in the food service industry preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests
- Ability to work flexible event schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
