Performs maintenance service and repairs of buildings, equipment and grounds in order to provide a safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, staff and visitors. The responsibilities include those of general maintenance (i.e., carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, equipment maintenance and safety testing). Will provide excellent customer services when working with patients, visitors and other staff members.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
- Technical degree in a facilities related field preferred
- One to two years general maintenance experience required
- Hospital facilities or healthcare construction experience, preferred
- Strong communication skills; ability to read, write and speak English
- Basic computer skills
- Valid state driver's license, required
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
