This role focuses on enhancing patients' daily living skills, unlike general healthcare aides, and requires specific state licensure, making it more specialized within skilled nursing facilities.

Reliant Rehabilitation fosters career growth by offering clinical ladders and leadership opportunities. Occupational Therapy Assistants can enhance their expertise through company-sponsored continuing education and may progress into supervisory or specialized clinical roles, benefiting from a therapist-driven leadership culture.

Reliant Rehabilitation provides structured training on state and federal occupational therapy regulations, infection control procedures, and documentation standards. Their clinical leadership team ensures therapists stay updated on evolving compliance requirements, safeguarding both patient care quality and facility partnerships.

Chicago’s demand for certified Occupational Therapy Assistants mirrors national growth due to its numerous skilled nursing facilities. However, competition can be intense in metropolitan areas, making licensure, relevant experience, and familiarity with local healthcare systems key differentiators.

Chicago’s diverse patient population and high concentration of long-term care centers require Occupational Therapy Assistants to adapt treatment approaches for varied clinical needs. The city’s healthcare infrastructure emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and compliance with stringent rehabilitation protocols.
